Description
Enter a place of calm, peace and tranquility, named for the mythical bird who nested on the sea and calmed the waves. Enjoy the soothing breezes of the trade winds that blow through the house most of the time.
Halcyon Days is for those who love hiking and going to the beach, but it also makes you glad to be back to your home away from home. Relax in the spacious family room that accommodates up to ten people. Prepare a meal in the main kitchen or on the barbecue deck and dine at a teak table that seats twelve. Lounge outside soaking in the lush surroundings in your choice of the multiple deck options. Ours is a house meant for lots of cooking, loving, and living.
Halcyon Days has four spacious bedrooms, two with their own private bathrooms. Our primary bedroom has its own intimate galley kitchen, and an open air covered porch with a view of Johnson Bay, Hurricane Hole, and Coral Bay framed by amazing Mongoose Junction style Danish stone columns. Enjoy your breakfast while watching the sailboats move in and out of Coral Bay harbor. The other two bedrooms share a large full bathroom looking out on St. John’s East End and Tortola. All four bedrooms have their own individual air-conditioning units, should your room warm up in the afternoon.
Relax in the atrium looking out the front door to Norman Island and a national park protected fringing reef, in the shade of a Schefflera tree. Or sunbathe on the large main deck upstairs, while listening to the sound of waves breaking. Play your favorite games or enjoy happy hour in the large bricked courtyard by a refreshing fountain. Use our dumb waiter to move snacks and drinks from the main kitchen to the courtyard without having to go up and down the stairs.
You will have access to three refrigerators, a washer/dryer, two kitchens, a large stove, two convection ovens, the dumb waiter, and a large propane Weber grill. Everything you need to fix your gourmet meal is available. And if the power goes out, as it frequently does on St. John, there is a large generator that will kick on automatically and make sure you are not interrupted, whether you are cooking, playing, or working.
We are happy to share Halcyon Days with you and want you to enjoy its many pleasures and gifts as much as we do.

Reviews
Best Villa in Paradise
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Halcyon Days Villa in Coral Bay, St John, USVI. This home had everything we needed, and more! It is by far the most beautiful home we have stayed in, and the owners and house manager were extremely helpful. There are beautiful views from every room, and the amenities are plentiful. The home provided everything we needed for beach days, and at the end of each beach day we were excited to return to this Villa! Such an absolute delight! - Valerie L.

The photos of this beautiful Villa don’t do it any justice! The view was fabulous and the rooms and living spaces were very well appointed and the beds were extremely comfortable as well. I would highly recommend staying if you’re planning on staying in Coral Bay! - Sean C.
