THE HAWKS NEST is a finely crafted small home with an ideal location on private property inside the borders of the U.S. Virgin Islands National Park and within walking distance of five different beaches. Perched among the trees above Hawksnest Bay, the cottage looks across the water to Caneel Bay Resort and further west to the sunset over St. Thomas and other out-islands. The North Shore beaches of Hawksnest, Gibney, Denis, Jumbie and Trunk Bay are all within a 10-20 minute walking distance. For more activity, the tennis courts, spa, beaches & restaurants of the world-famous Caneel Bay Resort are also on the North Shore. A perfect honeymoon cottage, you can get married on a North Shore beach by Anne Marie and honeymoon at The Hawks Nest. |

with your desired schedule Guests can enjoy the option, and savings, of not being required to rent a car since the cottage's location is so ideal. The National Park road is a 3-minute walk down the hillside road that leads from the cottage. The taxi-vans run along the Park road during the day and can provide a quick lift to Caneel Bay Resort or a 10-minute ride into the town of Cruz Bay for more dining choices and unique gallery shopping. Some guests still choose to rent a car and, if so, you should reserve a small 4-wheel drive vehicle on St. John. |
