Sol Inclination is a sun-drenched, secluded, fantasy island retreat. This four bedroom, four and-a half bath luxury villa (located in Skytop, on the very top of Estate Fish Bay) commands nearly 360 degree sweeping views that will truly leave you breathless. Enjoy captivating sunrises over Ram’s Head and sunsets into Chocolate Hole.

Expansive, panoramic ocean postcard views and the unspoiled greenbelt of the National Park await you at every turn. Few properties on St. John can rival the dramatic natural beauty of this location. Elegant and spacious, Sol Inclination is extraordinarily private, YET less than 3.5 miles to the center of Cruz Bay shopping and dining. This villa's premier quality and exceptional design are evident throughout. Polished granite, travertine and glass mosaic tiles cover all surfaces. Eight-foot mahogany interior doors, Weather Shield mahogany-interior doors and windows (fully screened) and mahogany details throughout lend a warm and rich feel. The custom design, state-of-the-art appliances, fixtures, and electronics found throughout will pamper you.

The two level Great House holds the living, dining and kitchen areas, two equally luxurious master suites, a media room, study, half bath, laundry room, as well as huge upper and lower covered verandas.




Just a few steps from the Great House lawn you will find the knife-edge swimming pool, spacious sundecks and Jacuzzi spa – all with forever sunrise to sunset views. The Great House interior living space is 2920 square ft. and the exterior decking is 1700 square ft.




The living room features 8'x 8' screened sliding French doors that open out to the covered veranda and large 6’X 4’ screened windows which take advantage of the views and plenty of sunshine. An oversized sofa covered with plump cushions & pillows - all cozy woven fabrics with pastel green tones and the comfortable wicker barrel chairs invite you to relax. A tall bar cabinet is available for making those tropical delights while you gaze at the sunset or enjoy the see-through fireplace (a rare Caribbean treat!), surrounded by a native stone wall. A distressed wood game table with four chairs will keep you entertained on those stay at home nights or you can keep up on current events from your 32” flat panel LCD TV. A DVD/CD player VCR and stereo with indoor and outdoor speakers complete your entertainment package.

The study, located just off the living room area, has a large sofa with desk complete with wireless DSL access. The laundry room contains a premium Whirlpool front load washer and dryer stack, iron, ironing board, and laundry sink. Just off the kitchen area is a powder room with pedestal sink and an Italian mosaic cascading tile wall. A custom mahogany bookcase is loaded with plenty of books and a assortment of board games to enhance your leisure time activities. Gaze at distant passing ships and national Park wildlife through your tripod-mounted telescope.




The dining room features an impressive San Marino distressed wood table, which sits just in front of the see-through fireplace, surrounded by floor-to-ceiling native stonewall below rough-sawn ceiling beams. Leather chairs provide seating for eight. Tasteful linens display a tropical motif. All floors throughout the estate are laid with beautifully rich travertine tiles.


The kitchen includes state-of-the-art stainless steel appliances. The Kitchen-Aid five- burner gas stove and electric oven, Whirlpool dishwasher, side-by-side refrigerator with water and ice dispenser, and double stainless steel sinks are handsomely enclosed in mahogany cabinetry. Madura Gold polished granite counters cover all the kitchen surfaces, including the eight-foot island with prep sink and raised bar with seating for four.




All new appliances, including a microwave oven, blender, toaster and an array of small appliances, along with complete dinnerware for twelve, are provided with the kitchen. Three large windows and sliding custom French doors provide vast ocean views as well as lush views of the surrounding National Park hillside. Enjoy Caribbean dining on the covered veranda tables (seating for eight) cooked on your own Vermont Castings Gas Grill.

Two magnificent king suites are located on the upper level of the Great House. The master bedroom features a four-poster mahogany bed, an oversized four drawer mahogany dresser and comfortable corner chair. The large walk-in closet gives you plenty of space for all your vacation attire.




The Master Bath is dressed with custom mahogany cabinetry, polished granite counters, creamy travertine tile, a clawfoot bathtub (another Caribbean rarity) and native stone outdoor shower with endless ocean, cliff and National Park views. Enjoy the sunrise view from the master bathroom outdoor shower.




The Palm Suite offers a graceful mahogany four-poster spindle bed with a matching six-drawer dresser. There is also a large inviting reading chair and generous closet. The guest bath features an oversize shower also crafted with creamy travertine tile from top to bottom and mahogany cabinetry with granite counters. Powerful central-air conditioning, and lighted ceiling fans, are just a few of the extras this luxury villa affords.

Each bedroom opens through eight foot glass doors out to the huge veranda, where you will find plenty of room for relaxation. The deck contains four large chairs with side tables. The view will amaze.

Also upstairs is a media room with sofa, coffee table and 27’ flat screen LCD TV, for those who would like to escape for a quiet book or TV.




The multi-level tiled pool deck wraps around an 18’X11’ knife-edge 5 foot deep swimming pool, featuring entry steps with inlaid glass starfish from local artists, St. John Glassworks.

The deluxe six-person Jacuzzi spa offers hours of relaxation with breathtaking views. The Italian Toscano pool furniture has an array of styles for all day sunning and relaxing. Six multi-position chaise lounge chairs, four sling chairs and six arm chairs, placed around teak and stainless steel snack tables, can be variously arranged to capture all angles of the sun.

The Guest House, situated just below the pool, is accessed from a landscaped path off the driveway or from the stairs just below the pool. As you enter the Guest House, a native stonewall features an array of specimen orchids and the sounds of a calming waterfall.

A mahogany kitchenette with stainless steel sink, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and blender are just inside the door along, with a 32” flat screen LCD TV, stereo with DVD/CD player and an oversized gondola wicker day bed , for quiet time, day or night.


The Jungle Room features a bamboo queen bed, Serengeti nightstands and four-drawer dresser, all finished in leather and wicker. An oversize leather and wicker trunk completes this wild habitat.
The Sea Biscuit Suite with aqua French Country design features a queen-sized bed with headboard, wicker accent night stands, an oversized six-drawer dresser with two cubbies, and a comfortable cushioned bench which give you all the creature comforts of home.


Each bedroom has a private bath with mahogany cabinets and onyx vessel sinks, which are surrounded by vibrant Italian glass mosaic tiles and generous counter space for all your personal items. Spacious travertine tiled showers as well as wall-to-floor tile give these baths exquisite finishing touches.

Central A/C with lighted ceiling fans in each bedroom make it easy to enjoy those warm and breezy Caribbean nights.

Sol Inclination is a place for couples or families. It lavishes luxury, complete privacy and unparallel views of Rendezview Bay, Hart Bay, Monte Bay, Klein Bay, Fish Bay, Reef Bay, south to St. Croix and east all the way to Ram’s Head. This is a non smoking villa, however smoking is permitted outside in the exterior deck areas

Deposit

A deposit of 50% of the total rent is required to confirm your reservation. The balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. The deposit is refunded if re-rented, less 20% administrative costs.
